Pet Urine Enzymes – Solution or Problem

Pet urine enzymes are tiny microorganisms designed to digest bacterial laden protein matter left behind by those furry friends we all love despite their sometimes, messy instincts. Pet store enzyme products work fairly well, when the proper pre-steps are taken to insure the enzymes don't become overwhelmed by the very problem they are suppose to resolve. For instance, the high alkaline pH factor, which exists in old urine, can dramatically weaken enzymes' effectiveness. Enzymes also need the right amount of moisture and warmth to stay active long enough to complete their job. Then there's that sticky residue they leave behind. But the most important factor for pet odor removal is what you should do before an enzyme product is applied.
